Dr. Van Aardt started Laser Plus Medi-Spa in Tusket, Nova Scotia, in 1999, when non-surgical cosmetic medicine was in its infancy. He saw that it would allow patients to re-capture their natural youthful beauty without surgery and with little down time.
Since then he has become an expert in cosmetic medicine:
- perfecting the latest techniques, such as Thermage and Botox
- developing a team of specialists covering plastic surgery, dentistry, massage, and esthetics
- opening the first full-service medical spa in Atlantic Canada in 2005
He and his associates offer a full range of cosmetic medical treatments and esthetic services to their patients from full-service spas in his original Truro location and Halifax. Dr. Van Aardt also offers his services from satellite offices in HRM, New Glasgow, Fredericton and Campbellton.
